About us

    The AssociationClub Lagfaf Athletics (ACLA) was created in October 2004 by former marathon runner El Mostafa   Nechchadi (2^nd in the Marathon of London 1987), to inspire children to realize dreams and have more self confidence, develop them mentally and physically. Develop social contacts, recreation, knowledge and cultural values. Give the possibility to practice sport and encourage children. Show the youth the goodness of sport in general. Introduce sport to young boys and girls to help them to fulfil sporting goals

    The Stichting “Vrienden van Marokko”was created in May 2005 by Els Vogels to support the activities in the village Lagfaf.

Nike Corporate Responsibility is the main sponsor of the project in Lagfaf

    August 2005 there was an agreement signed between Nike Corporate Responsibility, The local Government, The Association Club Lagfaf Athletics and the Stichting     “Vrienden van Marokko”for a 3-years partnership.
